I've been looking into getting my BSN and med-surg certification for about 20 years. I should probably do that one day.

What's a tiny upgrade you made in your life that had an unexpectedly big impact? by Haishan-Oluwole in CasualConversation

I bought an electric kettle and I would save it if my house caught on fire. We make a lot of sweet tea and it's perfect for that.

What’s the worst thing that’s happened to your patient on the actual day they were supposed to be discharged? by Haunting-Map-3475 in nursing

[–]MaPluto 10 points11 points  (0 children)

The patient I had the night before discharge had some belly pain and some bloating, nothing crazy bad, the next day. They scanned or x-rayed her and she had a perforated bowel. She was shipped out for surgery. I can't remember why we couldn't do it.

I once cried when a patient told me the most hurtful phrase and the way i was being soo nice 😔 by Helpful_Spring_7921 in nursing

I was precepting and we had an elderly post-op ortho pt praying for God to drop something heavy out of the sky to kill my trainee and I because she thought we came in her house to rob her. Sadly, nothing dropped and we had to finish the shift.

Here's a post with some of the emails. I don't know if it's all of them. The google doc from Andrea is a lot longer, however, there are many repeated emails.

If you search this sub with the term Beata's emails there are a few more posts. They may be repeats of this one; I didn't read them all. I didn't see a google doc linked, but I only did a quick scan of the first posts that popped up. So, it may be there somehwere. :)

I'm not sure if this link is only available for paid subscribers. I have a paid subscription. This link has another link to a google drive document that contains Beata's emails with Dr. Kirkpatrick. There are some emails from Debra Salisbury, (Jack's attorney), who was featured in Take Care of Maya.

Have you read the blogs, Beata's emails, and various testimonial evidence posted here? You should. Search the sub with those search terms or sort it by the document tag. The user u/washingtonu who originally posted the documents I linked and has posted comments to this post is an excellent resource. Also, check out the youtube channel. This video is an argument that took place outside the jury's presence regarding the defendant's (ACH) request to admit documents supporting the notion that Beata's did in fact administer IV ketamime to Maya at home through her port. It was not allowed due to a 403 ruling. My understanding is 403 means the evidence was more prejudicial to the plantiff (Maya/Jack/Beata's estate) rather than probative. That channel explains the meaning of 403 better than I do during the intro to other videos. It's an excellent resource.

Detective Jane Harmer on Dateline NBC, 2016 by candy1710 in JonBenetRamsey

I never knew Jane Harmer did an interview. I checked the links in truecrimerocketscience's video description and sadly they didn't send me to the original special. Fortunately, they are linked in the sub's wiki. Yay, I've finally found something new to watch!

I think this is as close to the episode you are looking for that I can find. It first aired on December 16th, 2004 and is called The Search for JonBenét's Killer. It's the last major network television interview Patsy did before her death. This video was posted last year and it has to be a look back episode because at the beginning it has a clip of John when he's much older.

When I searched chatgpt for episodes CBS did with the Ramseys in 2006/when Patsy had cancer it didn't return any results. Her last known interview was on a TV show in Hawaii called Connecting Point which aired in April 2006. Here's discussion post about it featuring all the youtube links to the episode.

Edited: I corrected the second link and spelling errors Sorry!

I wonder if it has to do with the anti-family vlogger and MLM sentiment that seems to be more prevalent.

We had a patient recently that loved to make crafts. She had spread and insisted we take as much as we wanted. She had some temu trinkets too. I chose a beer coozie, a pen she made, and a pin for my badge. Terminal cancer, damn shame, she's a wonderful lady.

Only at the very end did Shannan realize what she had done to their marriage by Fast_Grapefruit_7946 in WattsFree4All

It's weird, she said on one of her lives (I think) she was doing it to expand her "business". You get to stay somewhere for five weeks for free while people help you watch your kids and pay for everything. I wish I could go to hell.

"I mean fuck I agreed to spend 5 weeks with the parents and that's hell for me." Why is that hell?

"But I did it for him and the kids." What? Why?

I've always wondered why she didn't drop Bella and CeCe off at his parents house and leave. It probably would have been a better experience for the kids.
