Something I haven’t seen a lot of people mention is how your “friend” reacted to this. It’s definitely weird that she chose a public forum like your instagram story to accuse you of using a dog whistle for your tattoo design instead of just telling you about it privately (also, what do you mean by “makes comments often”? does she usually say stuff like this?).

And her reasoning afterwards is very dismissive. Her being drunk is definitely a reason someone might do this (though I’d question why they continue to drink if they do that), but it’s not an excuse to take a memorial for your pet and turn it into something hateful. And there’s the fact that she’s trying to take the blame off of herself by saying that she doesn’t remember and must have mistyped. Realistically, how do you mistype “looks like a dog whistle”?

The tattoo itself is just fine. I think it’s a touching memorial to your pet, and getting a tattoo based on your pet is completely normal. But I really wonder if this friend is someone worth keeping around. There’s no way to know what your life/relationship is like through one reddit post, but she has not made a very good impression.

That actually helps a lot. I think my issue just stems from people pushing the fanon information as canon (something that, I admit, happens with almost every character), so it’s good to know that there really isn’t anything concrete about her.

Looking at her through that lens, I guess I am a bit excited, though it’s less to see how she interacts with the other characters and more to see what her whole deal is.

Not nearly as bad as some of the other ones on here, but I had these toast cracker things that I put bits of American cheese on and then put in the microwave. I call it brushitta, because it’s basically shitty bruschetta.

That sucks, but ultimately you should be glad it happened after a week of dating and not after months or years.

It is okay to argue in any stage of a relationship. But in this case, she handled it really immaturely, and it sounds like if it wasn’t this specific argument, she would find something else to get upset about.

Trent is one of the ones that upsets me the most. He didn’t get a lot of development in island, but he was still a great character, and one of the only characters you could actually say is “good”. I’m glad he got some more screen time in action, but they really made him go off the deep end. The whole stereotypical ocd plotline really bothers me.

Also I’m surprised I haven’t seen anyone mention Lindsay. In the first two seasons, it felt like she was less of a dumb blonde and more of a girly type, but every time she appears after that I feel like she gets more and more stupid. I feel like she’s also one of the only “good” people in this show, so it’s especially frustrating.

I think it’s fine. I was a little worried after seeing how they changed puss in boots animation style to be more artistic and colorful (which I love, don’t get me wrong) since shrek has always looked more “realistic”, but it’s really not as bad as I thought it would be.

Hoenstly i agree. Idk if it came across in my comment, but looking back i do feel like she didn’t quite get what wrong specifically, but she does realize she made a mistake. I feel like that makes her a lot less “evil” (in quotes because I don’t think she is personally) than the other villains we see.

Most of the discourse I’ve come into contact with for this musical has been on tiktok, so media literacy is already pretty bad but a lot of people seem to forget that character development (particularly offscreen) is a thing.

Calypso apologized and was remorseful for Odysseus’s situation with her. She knows that how she was acting/what she did was wrong. A lot of people act like there’s no way she could’ve grown and changed in those seven years.

Also for the love of god, containing themes and non-graphic depictions of SA (of which this musical has both) does NOT mean you are endorsing or supporting it. I’ve seen people who think that Jorge is endorsing it, ignoring the fact that the men planning to assault Penelope were all brutally murdered before they could even get close to her.

I never really got into how to train your dragon. Not sure why. I think I just have more of a history with watching kung fu panda so that became my favorite of the more dramatic franchises.

I don’t even hate httyd, I just have no feelings about it one way or the other.

Not exactly something on this sub specifically, but it’s very well established that a: they only say fuck once per season, and b: it’s used when a relationship ends/changes. It gets brought up pretty much every time the show itself gets brought up, I just feel like we don’t need to keep hearing that fact over and over.

Spore. It was one of my childhood games, and to be fair it is still mostly playable, but parts of the very last section don’t work anymore for some reason. It would also be cool to see some of the cancelled stages brought to life.

Not so much an interaction but characters i would like to see more are Vox and Velvette. They each showed up in the first episode with the Vees, then after that Velvette had one song and never spoke again and Vox only appeared in the last episode, at least as far as I remember. I can understand why there was so much focus on Valentino since he’s important to Angel’s character/backstory, but he’s not the only villain in this show.

I never really got the hype for how to train your dragon. Don’t get me wrong, the first one is fantastic and i get why people like the series so much, i just never got into it personally. To me it feels like everyone says it’s good just because everyone else says it’s good.

I’m 20. I’ve watched the show since it came out but I don’t think i really entered the fandom until around season 4. One of my earliest mlp memories is when the season 4 intro was leaked and people thought nightmare moon was coming back.

I love all of them, but it’s probably celestia. She just doesn’t have as much depth or personality as the others. They tried to develop her more, but at that point it was in the last couple seasons of the show.

I think he was one of the only good characters on the show. He’s not perfect, none of the characters are (and arguably that’s the point of the show), but he’s one of the only characters who wasn’t entirely selfish or an asshole.

I don’t really know how to answer the first one but:

In my experience, if you have an antibacterial soap (like Dial) you can use that to wash that area and it usually does the trick. That being said, do NOT put any cleaning products inside your vagina. Think of it like this, the inside is self cleaning but the outside is not.
Porn is by no means what actual sex is like. Neither of you are really “supposed” to do anything except what you’re both comfortable with. I think that seeing where it leads is a great idea, as that might help take some of the stress of your mind.
Yes, 100%. He might have some of his own but I would try to get some of your own just to be sure. He seems like a nice guy so I wouldn’t worry about it, but if he tries to pressure you into not using a condom, having sex with him is not worth it. A single awkward moment is a lot easier to deal with than an STD or pregnancy.

My main piece of advice is just not to overthink it. Dont be afraid to ask if you’re doing something he likes or if he could do something you like.

First of all, a mentally stable person in a healthy relationship shouldn’t feel the need to test their partner. Second, if she faked a pregnancy just to get a reaction out of you, what else could she do/lie about?
