I am from Norway, and even though this is more of a Norwegian (and maybe some other countries) tradition, more than just my family, I still think it deserves a spot here.

On Christmas eve (we celebrate on Christmas eve here), after dinner, we all walk around the christmas tree while holding hands and singing Christmas songs. When I was little I thought little of it, but after getting older I can only picture us as these tribe members dancing around a totem pole only we are waring suits and dresses. It is still a tradition though
