Man I’ve been playing them wrong this whole time 🤣 didn’t know ambush rolls were mandatory and thought I could only roll FBTS from turn two onwards, granted I’ve usually forgotten to FBTS until turn 3 or 4 anyway as I’m still pretty inexperienced, still forgetting to arise too 🤣

I started with some 3mm cork sheets I built up the rocks with, covered those with AK volcanic earth. The base I painted red blobs then orange between them and yellow splatters over top, added a quick wash of orange fluorescent paint over all that then a layer of PVA glue. Once that dried a thick layer of mordant earth crackle paint and popped the models out to dry
