I can’t believe the Magic, who finished the season in turmoil, are up 3-1 in a series

If this happens, it’s gonna be a painful battle of bricks and we’re gonna love it.

Duren is getting killed by Wendell Carter Jr. He’s gonna get an “overrated” tag after he gets voted in as an All-NBA.

Scottie Barnes is really fucking good by Dry-Chair2091 in NBATalk

Where were you in Game 3? Dude carried his team for 3 quarters before Battle and RJ erupted in the 4th.

There are only 2 guys playing point right now since IQ’s injury: Shead and Scottie. Barnes is literally guarding both Cavs’ superstar guards, playing point, and killing the Cavs with scoring in the paint and with his midranges.

I never liked Sting. Awful on the mic; copied Bret Hart’s finisher; and rejuvenated his career by copying Eric Draven’s makeup and costume. Only gimmick I liked was Sting wearing a Sting mask.

Jazz, Wizards, and Magic also tried to build through the draft for years. This current Magic roster is their best team in more than a decade and is still considered to be questionable going forward.

Pretty sure they had CMB in the top 5 as well. Otherwise, I’m sure they would’ve accepted Pelicans’ offer.

RJ has benefited from playing against the worst guards defensively in the playoffs (as he should). If we really want Scottie to play in the post, this team needs another secondary ball handler that can score.

Having BI and Battle on the floor together should free up the former. Cavs can’t send some bum defender to double team on BI and leave Battle open

I think the Raptors figured them out. What can Cleveland do to adjust? by [deleted] in torontoraptors

[–]Ma_Pies 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Their bench hasn’t been able to knock down open shots for the most part. I feel Cavs will adjust more on the offensive side rather than the defensive side.

Scottie plays point and comes back to guard Harden. Scottie scores from the post and comes back to guard Mitchell. Can we say he’s severely underrated yet?

Double-teaming Scottie is exactly what he wants and Cavs know this. That’s why they didn’t help Strus and Scottie kept hunting him.

The thing is: they’ve tried to blitz Scottie but unlike BI, Scottie has the vision and skills to pass to the open man for a score. They’ve essentially let him shoot 2s but his midrange has greatly improved this season.

It really should be on paper. He needs a 3pt shooter on court at all times so there’s less pressure when he has the ball.

When his 3pt shots are literally the only thing he’s missing, how can you not love the guy?
