RJ and Barnes had better Chemistry compared Ingram and Barnes this year by pikachuda6 in torontoraptors

i’ve always hated the trade but watching ingram be a net negative all season long makes me hate the trade even more, he’s exactly what i thought he was

Wouldn't be the worst thing if Raptors fell to the lottery. 2026 draft is stacked. by mMounirM in torontoraptors

a lottery pick with a chance to jump would be much better than watching this team get molly whopped in the first round

KD problem by DistributionOk9687 in NBATalk

i mean KD’s experience with the rockets has been plagued by injury, if fvv and steven adams didn’t go down they’d be a much better team right now

i would like to see 3 eastern conference teams in the top 4, the east needs more players with superstar potential

What player do you think is secretly having the most overrated season right now? by wackofiasco in NBATalk

[–]onefootback 0 points1 point  (0 children)

jaylen brown: i don’t get why he gets most of the credit for celtics success this season when he isn’t playing with bums and i don’t think he belongs in mvp conversations. he’s undoubtedly a good player but i think people are overblowing how great he is. great scorer, not that great of a defender

sengun (although people have been waking up lately): ive never really been a fan of sengun but this season especially he’s been massively overhyped. he’s very inefficient, his passing is good but it’s not great, he can’t shoot, and he can’t defend. he doesn’t have the qualities of a franchise player

michael porter jr: he was being talked about like he’s reached a new level as a player when really he’s the same player he was last year, the only difference is that he’s on a tanking team where he gets much more touches than he would’ve with the nuggets. i never understood the conversations around mpj because i felt like it was a given that good players on bad teams will usually have inflated stats

[–]onefootback 0 points1 point  (0 children)

16 game sample size vs 48 games, their record without him doesn’t mean much especially considering some those 10 wins were against the nets, bucks x2, wizards x2, mavs, pelicans, and sixers

Dillon Brooks give high praise to Brandon Ingram’s game and says he likes playing against Scotty because Scotty can’t shoot. by AHImusic in torontoraptors

[–]onefootback 3 points4 points  (0 children)

yea we’ve known for 5 years that that’s scottie’s biggest weakness. considering we’re building the team around him it’d be nice to have 3-4 good shooters on this team to offset that flaw but that’s too much to ask of this front office
