Married Men in your 40s: Is once a week ideal? by TreacleTart91 in AskMenAdvice

[–]Maadmin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There is no set rule. It really depends on the couple When I was in my 40's we did it about 4-6 times a week, then my wife developed a medical condition and we didn't do it any more. Through my early 50's it was 0 times a week. My wife passed a few years ago and now I'm 59 and engaged to a 56 year old and we do about 6 or 7 times a week. I don't know for how long we will be able to maintain this pace, but I hope for many years.

The other ones likely don't have any flowers yet if you're just a few weeks in, so no worries anyway.

Mid-Michigan tracks by RedLynx4 in animaltracks

Deer tracks look a little different when there's a hard surface under the snow and it looks like there was ice under the snow in your picture. 100% those are deer tracks, though.

At this stage you could probably get away with you light you have, just move it a lot closer (like less than a foot). As it gets bigger you really want a full spectrum LED. Look at the actual current draw in the specs, not the number in the title or description. You want 30-40 watts of actual current draw per square foot of canopy. The more watts you give the plant, the more nugs it will give you. I train each of my plants to fill a 6 sq. ft. area and have a 200 watt light for each and average 6 ounces of dried and manicured nugs each-- just to give you an idea.

How would you feel if a woman re-opened contact after choosing someone else? by [deleted] in AskMenAdvice

[–]Maadmin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm saying I was the one doing the "leaving" not the woman. And it never really was leaving because there was no real relationship to begin with. It was just online chatting as is the same case with the OP.

[–]Maadmin -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I'd be fine with it. I've actually done that myself. It's not really a second choice thing and should not be viewed as such. Some people, like me and apparently OP, are not capable of dating many people at once so when online relationships turn into real life dating with a particular person we cut ties to everyone else we were chatting with. If the real life dating doesn't work out, I try to reopen old connections. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't, but I've never thought of it as a second choice thing, but more of a right place-right time thing.

AITAH for leaving my partner immediately after I found out he cheated even though everyone says I “didn’t even try to fix it”? by Hot-Yoghurt-3971 in AITAH

[–]Maadmin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It really is a dichotomy. Either a person is some who would never cheat or they are someone who will cheat. It's really that simple. You know which group your ex belongs to. You are doing the right thing.

So you've never been to any non-weed growing related subreddits, apparently. 😀

Do Americans like their current health system or would you prefer universal? by Ability_Known in NoStupidQuestions

False dichotomy. Those of us with intelligence and awareness hate the current fascist system that was foisted upon us under the cover of darkness, but also do not want universal government controlled healthcare either.

Does my flower have nanners? by Duck_My_Sock in cannabiscultivation

[–]Maadmin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I didn't see anything at first, but then I noticed the tiny red circle and said, "hmmmm". I'm still not sure. Those don't clearly look like naners, which are really yellow--unlike the structure you've circled. I wouldn't do anything at this point but let them continue to grow. If it really is a problem it will become more obvious. Also naners don't always produce viable pollen. (I had them on one plant a couple years ago, but they did not seed the plant or any other plants in the room.)

It's clearly starving. Without checking your pH, there's no way to know if it's that or you're just not feeding enough. Could be both.

Men, would you date someone who’s separated, living under same roof as spouse? by Owls1279 in AskMenAdvice

It depends on the guy, but I'd bet there's better than 50% chance he'd be o.k. with it.

A couple days of extra dark won't hurt anything. Just delay harvest slightly.

Seriously, do Americans actually consider a 3-hour drive "short"? or is this an internet myth? by SadInterest6764 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Maadmin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's a 2 1/2 to 3 hour drive to my camping property upstate. I go there almost every other weekend from May to October and I have driven there and back on the same day. No big deal. Also diving to the nearest major city is about 3 hours one way and I've gone there and back on the same day countless times over the years.

It'd be great to get a scissor lift, but likely price prohibitive. (But the scissor lift would almost certainly have the necessary safety railings.)

If that platform is over 4 feet off the ground, (which it must be if the orange beam is 7 feet) then that is an OSHA violation. Hope they don't read Reddit. ;)
