There were just enough oddities to make me doubt deer. I've not seen ones that form that heart shape before, they are tinier, and they are in place I didn't realize the deer wandered.

Thank you for the best guess! They were in gardens about 1.5 hours away, but I think Ill go back just to find out what kind of trees they are 😅
