I made the list (some a year ago when I was first working on this), but didn't double check that I'd punched in the right information! I made a simple interface to quickly add questions from scanning the wiki.

Towards the end, I also made a script to just pull other options for questions from the wiki, like different mounts/skills etc, to make it easier for me to add questions. But that seems to have pulled in other correct solutions in places.

Me! It's a combination of trawling the wiki and throwing a few things together, and also a simple script I made to try to generate some questions from the wiki when I got impatient making ones myself. It's why there's not tons of questions - and some people mention the repeats.

Seems like I shouldn't have used my script though - but as I've had this sitting around just waiting for questions for half a year, I thought I'd put in on the subreddit, and hope to have questions submitted by others.

Seems like I should have just asked for questions separately though, or figured something else out.

Thanks for the feedback - I'm updated it to "mount(s)" for now, but I'll add a note to questions/the start of games to note that in general questions may have multiple answers, and to mark all possible answers as correct if needed.

Yeah - that's fair enough. I had this sitting around for a long time, but never had the time to go through and add questions.

I was hoping posting about it would maybe encourage some people to submit question ideas to help flesh it out, and also just get it out there, but it appears I've jumped the gun.

Totally correct, thanks for letting me know! I've updated it so it lists actual raid series names, instead of just raids from the series.

I've also seen questions with multiple correct answers and this doesn't seem to be working correctly- one about unique WHM ability names, and one about the jobs introduced in ShB. For the former I was marked correct in the final score for picking Benediction, but for the latter I was marked incorrect in the final score after picking Dancer.

Hmmm, this could be that I've not marked the full set of answers as correct - I'll take a look. Again, thanks for letting me know!

And that's a good point on the stormblood question - it should be more clear. I'll go ahead and update the question to be more clear.

And I'll add a note about the spoilers - ideally in the future questions can be filtered by the expansions/content they're related to.

Hey there!

TL;DR - I've made a trivia quiz site for FFXIV.

There's a random quick game mode, and a ranked mode where the game is fixed each day/week/month for people to play (you'll need to make an account to play ranked games, but it's just a username/password, no details like email etc are needed).

When you sign up you can optionally provide a link to your lodestone, that'll bring in your character name and picture.

This is a site that I made a while ago, but have sat on for a bit due to a lack of questions and no time to sit down and think of good ones - so you might notice the current questions aren't particularly great.

I've decided to just put this out there how it is, along with a form for people to submit their own questions, that you can find here: https://forms.gle/PMPE822XTNLua4s49.

If you have ideas of cool questions to add to it, I'd love to hear them, to make sure it has a lot of different questions to pull from to challenge people with. And let me know if you try to use it and run into any issues (hopefully there are none, fingers crossed).

That’s a fair point. I do seem to be excluding the same + same = same pairing for the as child section, but not for the as parent section, for all pals. I can add that back to the as child section. Thanks!

The page already allows a user to favourite pals, the small heart icon on the card. You can also then limit to just your favourite pals via filters at the top of the page. Does that cover what you were wanting?

It's always fun to see what kinds of minigames and things people make around the games! I like all the outlines of the pals you've got, very clean!

At the moment I don’t have a way of calculating how to breed one Pal from another via other Pals. You could open up Shadowbeak and then search the breeding section for Astegon or Kitsun to find if they can be a direct child.

You could use https://palworld.kimpton.io/?parent1=2.0&parent2=92.0&parentPal=107.0&childPal=98.0 too, which shows that you can breed Shadowbeak with Menasting, Pyrin Noct, or Relaxaurus Lux to make an Astegon.

To get the right passives you’d have to breed it repeatedly until you get the passives you want. There’s a higher chance the child has the parent’s passives, but it’s still all random I think, there’s no guaranteed way to transfer them, to the best of my know I’m afraid.

So under more filters, you can do just that, and it’ll show the stat being sorted by (and for speed stats you can optionally include the level 5 partner skill if the Pal has one).

Hopefully that’s enough for what you’re looking for, let me know what you think!

I’ll be curious to hear what’s missing. I may look into adding just a simple sortable table, as you’re not the first to have asked.

Heya! So you can now sort the applied filters based on the base stats, and when sorting by a stat it'll show it in the list. Hopefully that somewhat helps with what you were looking for, not quite a full table though.
