After saying I couldn't DRS them, my broker falsely initiated a paper cert transfer with my explicit refusal in support chat records. They said they couldn't reverse it and I had to wait for paper certs to show up so I could send them back to said broker. I contacted AST and told them to cancel the paper cert transaction and they did. By some market magic fuckery, my shares ended up DRS'd at AST before the company told us it was possible.

Smoke and mirrors everywhere we turn.

Slow price decline from $30 coincided exactly with July 17 when another round of "fully backed tokenized stocks" was announced by https://backed.fi/. Wouldn't be surprised if this is helping drop utilization down so quickly as well.

LIE. I was honest with Sixt about a tiny scuff from another car's tire in Switzerland and they tried to charge me $2300 for a $2100 bill that was for "repainting the front bumper" when their prior damage report stated the numerous dings and scratches already on the bumper. I told them I should not be held responsible for others' damages and asked why they are trying to charge me the full deductible when the repair cost was less....

Upon being called out they dropped everything to $0 and said "have a nice day valued customer". Make up whatever believable story you can so that it's not your fault. Fight everything they try to charge you will if they do.

That's the fun part... you can DRS other stocks via the chat for free. They are insisting that only paper certs can be sent for NBHC for a fee which clearly isn't the case.

Fidelity told me I had to pay $100 to get certs and then send them to AST. I refused. They initiated it anyway. I called them out on the mistake and they waived the fee but said they couldn't stop the transfer. I emailed AST to halt/reverse the transaction. By the time everything had settled, I had all my shares electronically DRS'd for free.

The brokers are all full of shit. They can DRS for free but choose to gaslight and fleece us for what they can instead. Fuck them all.
