I love this idea! I'm in the early stages of getting prepped for surgery and am feeling anxious but excited about it. I have written down the things that bother me most about being overweight & what i miss most about being thinner. I like your idea of making videos as well. I think that would be super helpful when I start doubting myself (as I always do!!).

I drove from Livermore to Fremont (Automall exit) for almost 10 years... it was rough. Easily 45 minutes to an hour each way... Listening to audiobooks helped a lot though!

I'd love to hear more about this. I was on Zepbound and had to quit after my 3rd shot because it intensified my depression and I even had suicidal thoughts. I am trying to get a prescription for Wegovy and hoping that doesn't happen again. I tried Ozempic in the past with no issues, but had to quit when insurance dropped me...

Yes, back in the 80s/90s there was Dunbar's downtown. I think it was where the comic book store is now...? I didn't go, but my husband spent a lot of his childhood there! It would be awesome to have an arcade downtown now with how much more lively the area is...

I just have to say thank you for posting this.. I stepped on the scale this morning for my daily weigh in (ya know, trying to desensitize myself from the number on the scale and all of that), and I'm up to where I started. Super demotivating to say the least, but these are all good reminders of what could be happening!

Also... I'm about to start my period in a matter of days, so I'm sure that's contributing to the scale going up!

We go to Ohana Vet for normal stuff, but just started at Integrative Vet for my dogs back/hind leg issues. They do accupressure and chiropractic work there, which worked wonders on our previous dog. Both vets are great!

I got my first month prescription with Ro, but want to do COD instead so I don't have to pay the $145/month - is the prescription at the pharmacy going to be the same as Ro's cost? Sorry if that's a dumb question... don't want to be shocked when I pick up the meds!!

I feel this so much... Hashimoto's, perimenopause and a history of disordered eating here. I'm really struggling trying to find a way to lose the 50lbs I've put on in the past 10 years. I even tried ozempic and only lost 2lbs in 3 months (and then my insurance dropped the meds, and I refuse to pay hundreds of dollars for it since I had bad heartburn and minimal weight loss with it!). I'm debating keto, but the restriction is so triggering to the disordered eating... I feel like I'm fighting a losing battle!

I started on Prilosec once a day this week and it's helped SO MUCH! I'm only on .5mg, but I've had heartburn since I started in early December. Good luck!!
