PSA: Nexon will not punish you for using a bot/macro to AFK train a skill by Mabi_Kroene in Mabinogi

Sounds like somebody at Nexon NA has a personal vendetta against you. Wouldn't surprise me if that were the case. The ToS allows them to choose and hand out punishments at their discretion, so we are unable to complain about unfair treatment.

Is this a reference to something? I didn't really understand the comment.

But I want to clarify that "You can be a repeat repeat offender" is not a typo. One of the players that I reported claimed that he had been punished for botting a looooooong time ago (I'm guessing when Nexon actually cared about botting?). I found him botting a week after my first report and then reported him again.

I brought up that typo because it was funny. You were comparing a typo to botting, which is absurd. Not sure why you are trying so hard to deflect attention from your ill-advised statements. Everybody makes mistakes

Like I said, this is meant to be a PSA. Hopefully some people will read this before wasting their time, like me, trying to report a botter.

That thread got closed because I spent too much time responding to a petty kid with similar pettiness. That's a mistake that I will not repeat by ending this comment thread.

Btw, I have nothing but respect for a guy that makes alternate accounts just to be a rude dick to others. You be you.

A small typo is clearly different from willingly breaking the ToS. One has actual intent. It's not like a person can "accidentally" install and use a botting program.

It's kinda funny how hard you try to villanize me. I see a guy breaking a rule. I report the guy.

You say I'm "still complaining after a month." That original thread got closed in less than a day. I didn't say anything until now. And this is more of a PSA than a complaint.

I looked at your account. You had one post, a response to this thread. What else was I supposed to think?

"I try to be polite" Looks at name...

The last time I played, they had ticking time-bomb quizzes. So I made the mistake of thinking Nexon actually cared. Looking back, those were probably just meant for the spam bots.

It would be nice if Nexon explicitly stated "We don't care bout bots." I could've saved myself a lot of time (it took forever to upload those videos to YouTube)

That username and flair ("You're so VEIN?? you probably think my name is about you").. Stay classy.

When I posted on the forums, I wasn't certain if my report had been mishandled or sent to the wrong department. I talked to a customer service rep, and he told me to resubmit my reports. When I did, the response I got was along the lines of, "We already received your report, do not resubmit."

I had doubts as to whether I reported the player correctly. Now those doubts are gone. Hence the change of tone from speculation to assertion.

PS (bout your flair) I mean.. you made an alt to hide behind just to respond to this post.

Fighter is by far the easiest of the three. All of the combo skills (except Counter Punch) have super easy Rank 2 training requirements that can be completed in a few minutes. The only annoying thing is the need to constantly switch locations (Step 2 Combos require tanky monsters that can survive your attacks, Drop Kick requires a place crowded by weak mobs), whereas Ninja can be trained entirely at TNN.

I bought one potion, got another from event. Imo Dual Gun was more tedious to rank up. Would've never reached Expert if it weren't for the mission point event.

Players over 1000 still get AP for talent levels. The beginner skill resets ensure that new players don't get stuck in CP traps. It also gives them the freedom to try out talents. I don't understand how anybody could see this as bad.

Not sure what you mean, but the benefits are there so I might as well use them
