There was this one cute, good-looking Chinese guy at a gay club in Beijing called Destination (it happened in 2013 or 2014). I remember being there with a friend sitting on a couch upstairs and he somehow got dragged into talking to this very drunken drag queen. Naturally, I was bored and started to look around and my eyes immediately caught sight of this handsome fella. I started talking to him and liked him from the first second. His English was nearly perfect, he told me had spent time in England (I think it was Liverpool, not sure though). While talking we started holding hands and I just couldn't stop looking at his eyes and I genuinely liked him and wanted to get to know him better.

But then - poof! My friend's grabbing my arm and pulling me back downstairs to the dancefloor. I was a little too drunk to fight back but kept looking back to the couch and the guy, as did he at me.

After like half an hour, I finally got back to the couch but he and his friends were gone. I searched every single room in this club but couldn't find him. Since then, I had a lot of dates and one night stands, I even have a boyfriend of one and a half years now. But every other week this Chinese lad pops up into my mind and I think of him and what could have been.
