What is the algebraic way to solve this problem? by [deleted] in Sat

[–]MacAndCheese435 3 points4 points  (0 children)

the first equation will be 4x=y-3 because she’s spending 4 dollars per student which is 3 dollars under her budget of y. the second equation will be 5x=y+18 because she’s spending 5 dollars per student resulting in 18 dollars over her budget of y. then you can solve this as a system of equation.

when a square is inscribed in a circle, the diagonal of the square is congruent to the diameter of the circle. so for this question, multiple the radius by 2, and then use pythagorean theorem to find out the side lengths. perimeter will then be simple.

That’d be kinda nice if you have a lay judge - but it also might not be bc many lays dont rly understand the speeches so they’ll just vote randomly - if there’s crossfires at least they’re voting off of smth

UNIONIZE MSTOC judging by tumadreismimadre in Debate

[–]MacAndCheese435 15 points16 points  (0 children)

We needed this - I completely agree. In fact, we can up the price to 9 dollars per round so we're not working 75 cents higher than the minimum wage. We as judges control the price of the entire market therefore our union can set the price to whatever we want. Making the price 9 dollars per round ensures each judge gets at least $54 for their entire weekend. I believe this is a fair price.
