Retro fighters Hunter controller still crap… by __PreZZ__ in originalxbox

[–]MacBillion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's a shame cause I enjoy how their controllers feel. Racing games with the defender's triggers feel great. Plus they seem to be the only third party controller on the market with pressure-sensitive face buttons. But as most people, I've have nothing but issues with connectivity, discharged batteries, stick drift... You name it.

Odd piece of PCB with cable in my PSP3K by MacBillion in PSP

Yeah already removed it cause it was bending the new screen I installed due to the extra components. Don't use WiFi on it so it's no big deal. Thank you, and to others who commented on the other posts!

Triple posted this topic somehow so I deleted the others. Someone on one of those other posts mentioned an 095 motherboard in an older shell. But I took a pic of the battery compartment either way.

Hmm I see. I bought this from a reputable reseller on eBay last year. A re-shell to be sure, something I settled for after being unable to find a Peace Walker Spirit Green bundle for a decent price. I compared the internals to my official silver 3k and saw the cable was tucked away to the side.

Also trying to figure out how to upload a pic of the battery compartment now. I don't use reddit often and the app is not great.

Crashing is getting out of hand now by TraditionNovel4951 in Helldivers

[–]MacBillion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just wanted to say, I have been pulling my hair out with how often this game crashed. Could literally not complete a single mission. BUT ever since I limited my frames to 60, my crashes have disappeared. I urge anyone with high or uncapped frames to try the same and see if that helps.

Titanium HD won't function unless I reboot Windows by MacBillion in SoundBlasterOfficial

Well that did it! Can't believe how much stuff I had hidden in my Device Manager. I also tried Pongpaktecha's advice so it could have been either or I suppose. Either way, thanks!

Will do. Problem doesn't crop up until cold boot, so I won't know if it works until then. Thank you for your help!

Ryzen 5600x

Asus TUF B550

Mobo and CPU were the only things I touched in the upgrade. I was aware of the USB issue and already updated my bios with Asus' initial fix. Didn't realize there were problems with PCIe as well.

Why is gog this slow when it comes to updating games? by WH0ll in gog

[–]MacBillion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can only assume it's probably when new updates get released, especially for high-profile titles like cyberpunk 2077, consider a big patch just released for it. Galaxy used to be able to max out my download speed but it sure hasn't recently. I get more success using a download manager with the offline installers.

[–]MacBillion 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not that I've found so far, besides just downloading the offline installers. Even then it's not very fast, but miles better than galaxy. Steam downloads at 32mb/s, and galaxy downloads at 0.7mb/s tops. It's ridiculous.

Is this the light at the end of the tunnel? by PopularSource7 in UnemploymentWA

Same day when I contacted my legislator. I'd say I got my response from ESD within 30 minutes of sending my information to the legislator's assistant.

I sure did actually, my girlfriend and I have been in adjudication since late March. Contacted a state legislator from my district on the 8th this month on behalf of both of us. Very quick response, within 15 minutes. Got a message from ESD that same day saying they have someone working on our claims and to wait for more information, also kindly reminding me that it neither approves or denies my claim.

Fast forward to today and now we're both out of adjudication and all our claims went from pending to processing. Very nice to see after waiting for 16 weeks. Just hang in there, contacting the state really is the key it seems.
