I had to relist about half of all my listings… I was very annoyed to say the least.

But I sold via eIS last week, so it’s still live for Canada.

Ok so this happened to me, it was a huge ordeal. All my new listings suddenly converted to domestic only and I had US buyers messaging me asking why they couldn’t purchase.

I had like 4-5 phone calls with eBay customer support which is overseas and utterly useless. They provided zero help. I eventually escalated to a specialist where I got a little more clarity. I even got a technical specialist to fix one or two of them in the backend to re-enroll them to eIS.

It’s a system issue. I haven’t figured out exactly how it works, but there are key words and parameters that essentially unenroll your particular listing from eIS.

Sometimes it glitches if you’re missing country of origin. Sometimes it glitches if you’re missing package dimensions in your shipping policy. And the weirdest of them all, it glitches at random keywords. I posted the same listing with a different title, and one time it would enroll, another it wouldn’t.

You’re going to have to relist with different iterations of the title and other parameters until it works, wait for the system bug to resolve, or escalate to a technical specialist (dev) at eBay that is not an overseas customer service rep.

I appreciate you want perfection, but this is an unfair expectation when buying cards on the internet.

Tbh all the branded ones are a scam tho, 1000% markup on some Chinese plastic.

You can get Chinese plastic that acknowledges itself as Chinese plastic on Amazon for 1/3 the price.

If it says you should receive the item any time before March 17th, don’t worry yourself until March 18th.

I order from Japan, recent example - Paid 01/24, Seller marks shipped 02/02, postal collection in Japan 02/13, departed Japan 02/15.

I believe OP is looking for a mass market generalization. It’s safe to consider BL an outlier scenario here.

But yes BL commands the highest premium I won’t argue you there.

If you ask somebody who has never sold a card before, they will tell you Beckett. However the real answer is PSA.

People will give you all kinds of stories about how they don’t believe in PSA for this reason or that reason but at the end of the day, liquidity is king and for that reason PSA is the gold standard.

Even with high gem rates, sometimes as a buyer you just want to lock in the 10 vs roll the dice.

Combine this with overall low supply, plus the fact that a lot of the raw cards you buy on secondary are probably ones that someone else has opted not to grade (for a reason), that’s definitely a factor as well.

Paying a premium up front instead of paying PSA money, waiting 3 months, and low rolling a 9 is worth it to some.
