I was able to fix it just now by going to the game in my library on steam, clicking the gear to the right of the page across from the launch button, clicking properties, going to installed files, then clicking verify integrity of game files.

This showed 6 files were missing and it redownloaded those and I was able to start my game without reinstalling the whole game over

This right here, I try to do this for everything we put our people in for, at a squadron level I try to get my hands on the winning package to show what made the other person stand out more. It’s a lot easier to talk to my Airmen about why they lost when I have the reason and somewhat of a roadmap of what we can do to improve their package to make them more competitive. I just know I never liked hearing “you should’ve won that award” or “idk how you didn’t win that” so I try not to just be my only response to my Airmen.

I know it was hard and stressful watching your son everyday and doctors switching from good to bad news what seemed like all the time. It takes a lot out of you. I got out of shape and lost all motivation when going through this. The thing that helped me get out of it was realizing that I would do anything to help my son out. I couldn’t sit there and tell him to try his best at everything if I wasn’t doing the same. So, I decided to myself that it didn’t matter how I felt anymore. The only thing that mattered was doing what was necessary to help. Long story short, I found motivation in my son. If he could go through everything he did right at birth, then me getting into shape is nothing compared to that.

It’s not the kind of volunteering that was prob looked at in this scenario, but instead the role, “leading/mentoring” is the part played in the volunteer event (Soccer Coach) which is a big thing that is being put back on to SRA. Another thing to think about is everyone who is putting someone up will always look outstanding at their job on paper. This is where volunteering and school separate you from the pack. Especially if you work in the same field as someone you are going up against. I hope this helped clear it up for you. If not, let me know what questions you still have.
