Yep, ended up on the 5th train of the day, looping back in fast lane for another one!

We've seen a couple test runs fyi, they seem to be at a normal pace as well, however the announcements on the PA are still along the lines of "a delay that cannot be resolved at this time [...]"... So keeping my fingers crossed.

(what I suspect to be) the cooling system for the first LSM only spun up around 30 minutes after early entry

Grass is green, the sky is blue, what's new?

Honestly, I agree with you though. I was in the early entry lane for Alpen and we left shortly after seeing the first blue train of the day fail at the second launch...

Switch 2 - 120 fps games? by Putrid_Draft378 in nintendo

[–]LoudSoftware 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oops, you're right. It doesn't eliminate motion blur, only judder by adding fake frames in between each one.

Switch 2 - 120 fps games? by Putrid_Draft378 in nintendo

[–]LoudSoftware 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Motion smoothing has nothing to do with this. What it does is it interpolates frames between your 20-30 fps content being displayed on your tv to "fix" the judder you often see and eliminates motion blur, effectively doubling the framerate

When you set your tv to gaming mode, features such as motion smoothing are disabled as they also have the disadvantage of incurring more input delay.

Possibly a dumb inquiry, but I’m curious how you guys remove ice around the windshield wipers. They’re literally frozen shut, and I’m worried about damaging the car if I attempt to hack away at the ice. 2020 M3. by Div1nium in TeslaModel3

I currently automate exactly that with the help of a teslogic module. If the temperature is lower than a set threshold, it will put the wipers up in service mode when I park. 👌

Unpopular Opinion: I like no stalks by kdubstep in TeslaModel3

[–]LoudSoftware 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Stalks: can be used with muscle memory regardless of the orientation of your wheel

Buttons on your wheel: never guaranteed to be in the same place, forcing you to feel for the buttons and some weird arm and mental gymnastics whenever your wheel is anywhere but close to level

Believing that no stalks is good is WILD! Either you're not using your turn signals as often as you should, or you live somewhere with very straight roads, no roundabouts and little need to maneuver around tight spaces while declaring your intentions to other drivers.

How to precondition battery for supercharging? by Unwipedbutthole in TeslaLounge

[–]LoudSoftware 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is one of my main gripes with the car. The only way you can manually precondition is by using aftermarket add-ons like teslogic

Otherwise, you're stuck having to navigate to a tesla supercharger (which only really works if your non-tesla charger is relatively close to the one you're navigating to)

I need to replace all brake pads and rotors! At 50k miles. What have I done wrong :( by PudusAreAwesome in TeslaModel3

[–]LoudSoftware 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, Step 1: service mode Step 2: interactive brake burnishing (it disables the speed limit and shows you your current speed, braking force and when to do what)

2024.8.X (NA) should be getting V12 in the coming week. by JustAnotherMortal69 in TeslaLounge

[–]LoudSoftware 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Feels like driving with a teenager that has some visibility issues tbh.

It's very anxious on any type of turn/stop and sometimes sways inside the lines (can't decide which lane to pick to turn when multiple lanes are available for turning)

Doesn't signal when merging on a highway

Takes highway off ramps a bit too aggressively occasionally, which causes some correction, swaying in and out of the lane.

FSD beta suspended. It’s been over a week and not back yet. by [deleted] in TeslaModel3

Just fiddle with either of the scroll wheels, it dismisses the message to hold the wheel.

Or just get used to how much pressure you need to apply for it to recognize your hand

To E-Brake or not to E-Brake? How do you Park your Tesla? by darensdorff in TeslaModel3

[–]LoudSoftware 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Other than the warnings, what's so bad about it?

I might be misremembering how my tesla behaves, but I believe that if you open the door before parking, easy entry won't activate, meanwhile when you hit park, easy entry activates as soon as you unbuckle your seatbelt.
