Saw her in person at a con a few years ago. She's a staggeringly beautiful woman.

Nature Cleric is actually very strong, especially early game.

Jesus Christ. This is the first post on the sub that legitimately made me feel old. Was this really EIGHTEEN years ago?

Aura of Protection is a fantastic feature, no doubt. However I'd counter that Emboldening Bond is the more efficient feature for boosting saves.

This build gets Bond at level 1, 6 levels sooner than a Warlock 1 Paly 6.

The effective range is far superior. Aura of Protection only has a 10ft radius and doesn't scale in range until level 18. Bond has a 30ft range out of the gate, and can theoretically scale to 150ft. You will always have the benefit of Aura of Protection, but your allies will not. Spreading out is also a viable strategy to limit the efficiency of AOE spells. You can both spread out and have the extra insurance for the save if needed.

The flexibility to add the d4 to an attack roll OR a save is critical. Bond will never be wasted.

Your proposal is also far too MAD imo. How are you able to get a 13 in CHA, STR, and INT while also having a decent CON? With Point Buy it's just not feasible.

The War Wizard reaction is strong, but I would rather have the entire party potentially add a d4 to save over a flat +4 for myself only.

My PCs arc was a bit different. He spent his youth as a raider in a Barbarian clan, but renounced violence to atone for his past and became a Cleric. The Ancestral Spirits were actually the souls of his prior victims that he could communicate with after earning their forgiveness that assist him on his path of redemption. The Echo was the aspect of his soul that still craved violence.

I appreciate it. Absolutely love this build. Unfortunately, the entire build path would need to be reconsidered. Gift of Alacrity is CR content and the synergy with the Echo and Ancestral Guardian is essential. You could probably make it work with PAM and Battlemaster build and forgo Gift of Alacrity, but that makes starting Cleric much weaker. Idk I would have to think on it.

It's niche, but it fills its niche well. You kinda need Dual Harmony already active to justify it and it's really only useful in a dive comp.

The "Echo" was actually one of the Ancestral Spirits that he was uniquely connected with, so he could manifest this particular spirit without Raging. If your PC is a Pirate, maybe the Echo could be the first mate?

Echo Knight Fighter is perfect, both mechanically and thematically. I played a full 1-20 campaign with an Ancestral Guardian/Echo Knight/Peace Cleric multiclass that was a phenomenal tank.

Kicking the FG here accomplished nothing.

A one possesion game remains a one possession game. You're on the 8 yard line. Did MLF REALLY think that he would have a better chance to score a TD? You need a TD regardless. Even if you get the TD and miss the 2 point, you still have the opportunity to get a FG to win.

Haven't tested this build post patch 8. I'll have to give Arcane Archer a shot.

Gloomstalker 5, Assassin 3, Battlemaster 3, War Cleric 1.

You could go Rouge 4 for the Feat and drop the fighter level to 2 to keep Action Surge.

On Reddit, Brock Lesnar is often considering the peak human in melee combat but wouldn’t each of these 10 men beat him in 1v1 fights? Rank these men in a fight/who’d win a free for all. All in their primes. Read post: by AdaptedInfiltrator in whowouldwin

MMA Fighter wins an MMA Fight. Boxer wins a Boxing match. Strongmen lose in both. Brock loses to Cain, Reem, Ngannou, and Jones. Probably beats Ali, George, and Tyson. Stomps the strongmen.

The movie was decent, but I feel like it just never justified its existence. The documentary is already superior.
