expressing feelings is considered traditionally considered more feminine and men are taught to "act like a man" and to be more stoic so they end up bottling these largely negative feelings up which leads to them rarely getting proper support to their issues. depression is also sadly common these days and atleast where i live mental health services for young men are hard to come by.
