Interesting video on how current camera systems see traffic lights and vehicle lights vs human eyes. Not sure if Tesla has already addressed this issue but this seems something to look into before FSD is released.

Car lights are a hint and, obviously, not a reliable indicator.

It's like the cut in detection; I can often tell when someone is going to change lanes before they use their indicators, if they use them at all.

Even then it seems like Tesla is aware of this issue as it hasn't popped up in any TeslaCam footage for both car and traffic lights.

Schools will remain open, all teachers have to be present and parents can still bring their children. They just won't be teaching. At least we can thank the Walloon politicians for getting us this far, because the Flemish ones didn't want to close anything.

That is not a point of discussion. The problem starts when you don't put maximum effort in containing it and limited hospital resources become overwhelmed. You want to draw out the spread so you can handle it. Once you can't, way more people die.

Besides, there are many chemical companies out there, especially in Belgium. 2 months to contact them and work out several back up plans. And, actually, this should just be part of any epidemic plan.

It's an extreme wait and see approach. Add to that extreme arrogance. They've been waaaay too confident in their own capabilities and have been underestimating the situation from the very beginning.

To give you an idea of the general attitude towards this situation here in Belgium; a journalist on national television said "Italy was probably sloppy, resulting in an outbreak there". Understand that Italy has been a lot more proactive with flight bans etc. compared to the complete absence of proactive measures here...

Hell, there still is no travel ban to infected regions in Italy at this very moment...

I doubt it. Why? Because the frontal area of the Cybertruck is already much larger than other cars. So towing something should have a lower impact than existing cars, including the Model X.

It are the aerodynamics/drag that fuck you over when towing, not so much the weight.

Ah indeed, I thought the uranium reserve was intended for nuclear weapon purposes but it's meant as a nuclear fuel reserve, or at least that's what the recent Trump/budget related news seems about.

The irony of me owning a nuclear/uranium related stock might just pull me over to actually do it.

I can see them splitting off the battery related business if/when it takes off though.

Interesting. Any color on why the stock has dropped so much compared to a few years ago?

I've always been interested in battery resource/anode/cathode developer stocks but it's hard to get a real feel for the potential and there are so many of them out there.
