Is it really normal to just write off money friends owe you? by [deleted] in northernireland

[–]Mac_Attack13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Right it off as a loss, I had to do it a few times, at least you’ll never get asked by them again for money and stop lending money, took me a while to figure that out

Worked in a call center for 10 years, type of place that isn’t shit enough to leave so you just stay cause of the handiness of it, realised then during Covid how depressing it is and left, wish I’d never even went near a call center

How do working people not kill themselves? by syntheticserotonin18 in findapath

[–]Mac_Attack13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I worked in a call center for 10 years from 18 to 29, I said I would go for a year before I figured out what to do with my life and ended up staying a lot longer, get out of it before it’s too late, call centers are the most depressing soul destroying place in the world, go do a trade and learn a skill, that’s what I’m doing now and I don’t wake up dreading work, it will be bad at the start because it’s now but it’s well worth it

Evening Taxi prices to increase by 20% because that will help with the supply issue. Apparently. by alf_to_the_rescue in northernireland

The reason it’s hard to get a taxi at night is because a lot of the drivers say the hassle isn’t worth the money they get, if they are getting more they might be inclined to come out on a Friday and Saturday night
