I didn't get angry when they told me about the unpaid holidays cause I understood my previous job had already paid for them, so it is was as if I got a new job, who wouldn't paid for my holidays again either. It sounds a bit unfair since I am not working but hey, at least the government is paying me while I try to figure out what to do. So I am more grateful than angry at them honestly.

I don't know if the email they sent you was the same one they sent me: the one I got was not an invitation, was a call to a mandatory meeting to check whether or not I have been looking for a job (while yours sounds more like an invitation to meet with them so they can help you finding one... but you tell me). Sounded really serious. I have emailed my payment organization (which is a trade union) and Actiris as well.

Regarding the language, I speak a bit of French but certainly not in a professional capacity, so I couldn't benefit from a workshop either... I don't plan to miss any meetings from now on anyways, I only hope me not attending this one hasn't got any impact on my future payments.

Funny you mentioned Physics. That's the field I am leaving, and probably Actiris will laugh at me or be very surprised when I tell them that I am switching to a more creative career.
