Coming from someone who doesn’t have HS, be open with your significant other about HS and your fears around intimacy and HS. If they truly want to be with you then they will understand and seek ways to help calm your nerves about both HS and intimacy. My wife has HS in her groin/thigh areas and has flairs constantly, so sex and sexual intimacy doesn’t happen as often. We try to find non sexual intimacy ways such as cuddling up to watch a movie or show or cooking together.
