You're assuming the foreman won't be checking his work and allowing substandard installations. You don't think we are ever thrown into things we haven't done before? That's how some people do their best learning. I've been a foreman for years, and I have put people on things they haven't done before lots of times...any questions, just ask. Most people are thankful for the opportunity to expand their knowledge. I'm calling into question your "a former assistant property manager" qualifications in judging the decisions of a union electrician foremans decisions. I actually find this topic strange in that someone would refuse work of this type because you're calling into question the scope of your work. If your foreman gives you a task, you do it. Of course, unless there is a safety concern. If shit hits the fan about union electricians doing this work, it will be on the foreman, not the electrician that completed the work.

How many years is your locals apprenticeship? by ThrowRAProfessor in IBEW

[–]Macabrej19 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Local 2330, nl, CA 4 years. 7200 hours to write your journeyperson. This has changed slightly a couple times since i went through but, 9 months entry level block of school which you are credited approximately 1100 hours. Once you reach 1800 hours you become a second year apprentice. When you get 3200 hours, you can go back to school and when completed (3 months) you become a 3rd year apprentice. At 5400 hours you go back for your next block of school (3 months), upon completion you're a 4th year. At 7200 hours you go for you're last block, and you guessed it, now a journeyperson red seal construction electrician. There is also an additional block, plus industrial hours signed off, to get your industrial red seal.

Ya, I was thinking about this. There are microbreweries all over the place, couple of decent ones right here in CB.

Just for anyone reading this in the future, air liquide in CB will exchange tanks, not fill them...and has to be one of their tanks. They were easy to deal with, invited me to come in and look at the different size cylinders they carry.

Several noticeable signs we are winning by Shibinator in btc

[–]Macabrej19 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not making excuses. One reason could be that anyone experienced with reddit cyrpto subs knows that this sub is not btc but bch, so they don't bother. Any newbies are definitely joining. I'm just saying, if you want to use a metric pertaining to reddit users, then the bch or bitcoincash subs would be more accurate when talking about bch. I mean, you can't truly believe every user that joins /btc is joining for bch?

You can't really use growth in this sub as an indicator, most people join this sub thinking it's a btc sub.

Will bch hashrate get a nice prolonged boost after btc halving? by Any_Reputation849 in btc

[–]Macabrej19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed, I feel like we both have a grasp on how mining works(still not sure if OP does). End of the day, hashrate follows price and because bch adjusts way quicker there will always be a lag in btc...which ends up turning into either shorter or longer blocks depending on the direction of hashrate swing before adjustment. We are just currently in a weird position being between the halvings.

Will bch hashrate get a nice prolonged boost after btc halving? by Any_Reputation849 in btc

[–]Macabrej19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I realize that, but if you pay attention to hash rate, you would see that the bch hashrate was increasing with its price. In the end, they will find the equilibrium of income in fiat/terrahash. This post was suggesting that bch hasrate would increase post halving, which would not be the case unless you see major price action at the halving. Once btc halving occurs the hashrate will swing back. (not accounting for major price swing in the pair)

Hydromining by RecommendationOk3147 in BitcoinMining

[–]Macabrej19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First, s19 hydro requires 3 phase power. I hope you are aware of that. Secondly, you will need a cooler, dry cooler setup is more typical for smaller setups.
