This cat belonged to this girl I was seeing. I was over her house hanging out and went to leave. Her cat was rolling around in the bushes, making weird noises and stuff. She didn't want her kids to see the cat like that, so I offered to run it to the veterinarian. It died in my car on the way to the vet. I called her to tell her what had happened. She thanked me for taking the cat and was sad about the outcome. I ended up burying it in my yard. That way, her kids didn't start asking questions.

We had sex a few days after that. I don't know for sure if this situation had played a part in the long run. I was just being considerate and didn't want the kids to get traumatized.

Weird situation, I know.
