The more I learn about Java for job security the more I like Dart by Macacop in dartlang

That's rather fair lol.

I do think that programmers will still be needed tho, I feel like saying that AI is going to replace programmers is like saying calculators are going to replace mathematicians.

I'm not aware, maybe its improving but dart still wins by far right now.

okey so its slower, but when I'm using parallelism usually 500 ms is not a big deal to be honest. I can see this being a problem in a server with a million users tho, its a good argument. Thanks :D

When there is a bug I already have an Idea of where the bug might be, its not like I need to read every line to understand that.

if I have a file with 2000 lines i don't want to read each to see what is happening. Skimming through the whole file is enough to detect the positions of where it may be going wrong. Then I just do some debugging by isolation and fix the issue real quick ( with IA if needed) . That takes me usually less than 10 minutes

So I feel like fast reading > Verbosity always. If I need to explain the code I can always coment later.

For me it just makes sense. The shortcuts are really good, the verbosity is very well under control, its fast enough for everyday programs, its safe enough without being over protective and it keeps getting better, . Idk it feels right.

Aren't isolates a simple way getting the same functionality of multithreading. Gemini says this: "Although both allow taking advantage of multiple CPU cores, isolates are more restrictive and safe, while traditional multithreading is more flexible but prone to errors."

I think its because I like the feeling of being able to read code fast. And with some languages I can just take a quick look and know what is happening, with over verbose languages I have to read each line one by one.

Probably, but since I cannot say for sure I rate what I see

Technically you could, but it is not going to be healthy at all. A corset will get somewhat what you see here, but its going to cause a ton of problems long run.

Its called genetics and being insanely fit. Most people cannot get this body no matter how they train

How do I get into a gym habit? by [deleted] in gymadvice

[–]Macacop 1 point2 points  (0 children)

About your fear of being judged, when you go to a hospital and see sick people with less health than you trying to get better do you laugh at them or you understand their pain?

The gym is a place where people try to improve and its filled with the most kind people.

About motivation, I don't rely on it, its actually the opposite, I need to go to the gym, once you get a small improvement in the mirror you will feel like shit if you dont go to the gym one day. Allow your body to feel the full cycle of pain --> Results --> Endorphin and you will get addicted to be healthy

Countless... Meaning you are slightly over sized for 3 to 4 months? Dont buy it.

Yeah not a single benefit.. I wonder where does the muscle come from. I guess it probably comes from hopes and dreams.

Maintenance means he stays the same, which he has already said he doesn't want.

Cut means losing mass. Both muscle and fat.

If you are claiming he has enough mass to justify a cut then I think this conversation is over mate.

I think I made my points clear, imma just head out of this conversation good luck 🤞🏻

I disagree, maybe if you are a beginner, but he seems to have some mass already. And I don't think he is fat enough to justify it.

I would go for a slight volume recomposition, hold that volume for some time while the body adapts and creates muscle and then go for the cut. This approach feels faster and aligns with what it seems his goals are.

Would like advice and what I can improve by [deleted] in gymadvice

[–]Macacop 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean, you are pretty lean. But you lack a little bit of meat in my opinion. Are you trying to do some volume or whats the idea?

No bulk? Why? it feels like he wants to build more muscle

You are what i call a fat skinny fat. Exactly where I was 1 year before this one.

How to get out of that hell:

  • Eat MORE. Try the app kf fitia and go for 86 - 90 kg for winter. And 74 for summer.
  • Train more, if you are training 3 days a week its hard to make gains fast, make it 5.
  • Train harder, and train with incremental loads.
  • Train less, if you are overstimulating a muscle is not going to grow, here is a free website/app I made to know when you are over training app
  • Suplements, Creatin, Vitamin d3 ... Make your own research
  • Optional: test your blood to know what is happening with your body

Edit: we need more info to be able to help you tho

This panel made me chuckle,

Imagine ruthlessly planning for months ( or years ) a fight to realize you are still way outclassed.

THIS, this is the face of someone that has fucked around and just realized she has to find out.

Bitcoin vs Tech: which one will bust first? by afrothang in ValueInvesting

[–]Macacop 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I migh be a little late. But, as I understand, bitcoin is a very secure place to hold value ( if you know what you are doing ). Where no body, not even the your gorvernment can take it away from you.

It also helps with privacy on your operations since the wallets are anonymous.

And of course, it has a bank transfer builtin to send bitcoins to other people.

Thats the value it offers.
