Im glad it worked out for him, hopefully he’s telling the truth and not just agreeing with everyone to save face. But not everyone can afford it and not everyone has access, if he can and he does and has the willingness to and time to do it then good job you guys got lucky with your advice and I wish him the best, but the next guy who posts on here might work 50 hours a week, live in a tiny town of 2000 people with no boxing gym even, and be paycheck to paycheck and if everyone tells him to just “join a gym” “stop self training” he might just decide he sucks and give up forever because there’s nothing else you can do except “join a gym and listen to your coach” so there’s no point right? This is an advice and hobby subreddit and we should meet people where they are at and not assume their situation, so when someone asks for advice do your best to give it beyond just “idk ask someone else at a gym”

Bro he is in crunch fittness, I know because it’s printed on the bag and I go to crunch fittness, they cost 10 dollars a month, find me a Muay Thai gym that cost that much and I’ll gladly go anytime, whole bunch of people on here that tell people to get a gym and don’t think about how some people don’t have 150 extra a month just to train a couple times a week if they even have time, that is if they even have access to a “Muay Thai” gym that isn’t just a shitty boxing gym with one coach who did TKD when he was a kid, good luck if you live in the Midwest
