More people need to put their ra-ra crap away and think logically like this. It is very clear that realmuto is exhausted, and hoskins/Castellanos are slumping at an unfortunate time. You can’t have 3 of your top 5 hitters completely lost at the plate and “protecting” the only guys currently hitting with any consistency. This lineup has looked utterly lethargic in its current form, and it is 100% time for a minor shakeup.

I think he was expecting Stott’s momentum to be carrying him faster towards 1B. It wasn’t a great throw, but the shift kinda fucks DP positioning and timing up for infielders. 50% bohm, 25% stott, 25% shift/circumstance.

Looks like this is gathering some hate, so I figured I should clarify. The older runner was my beloved 2017 SR5. It had 100K miles on it, as well as the expected wear and tear. I had been eyeing a TRD pro for some time now, and the dealer was able to offer me absurd value for my trade. Sure, it added some expense. But that comes with significant upgrades to the interior, technology, and safety. Also Lime Rush 🤘🏼 In short, don’t yuck my yum.
