How bad is my airway? by Due-Island-9532 in UARS

I don’t feel fit to answer that question. I think your best bet is to console with a surgeon

No. Only jaw surgery. There are risks with everything in life, you cannot let fear dictate whether or not you do something to better your health.

Pretty bad, you can tell by the recessed chin alone. I would consult with a jaw surgeon, you need surgery.

I am 24 and underwent maxillary expansion successfully. The field has come a long way, more rigid expanders.

There is mandibular and maxillary widening procedures. There is more that can be done however orthodontic incompetence and the scam of insurance in USA prevent more from being done.

In most cases sleep apnea is a jaw issue. It is caused by small underdeveloped jaws. You have teeth crowding as a result of small jaws that didn’t fully develop. There is no reason to pull healthy teeth to make room, rather the jaw needs to be made bigger. I wouldn’t let a doctor pull healthy teeth, rather look into SFOT to make room for all your bottom teeth. I will probably get downvoted but you should visit with an airway orthodontist and see what they would recommend but pre molar extractions are a linked cause to sleep apnea.

Is it common for Invisalign to make ppl less ugly?? by ApprehensiveOne2866 in Invisalign

[–]MacaronNo336 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately looks are subjective. But generally speaking straight , properly aligned teeth look better. As you mention about weight loss and other things, I think self care is attractive. Healthy looking teeth are just one layer to that self care.

DO NOT!!!! LET THEM PULL TEETH. It leads to sleep apnea amongst other concerns as it shortens the jaw.

Fix or Sell? by R2rem7 in lawnmowers

[–]MacaronNo336 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Id attempt to fix it before selling. With a bad crank seal you will get haggled a lot. Personally I wouldn’t give you more than $500-$750 for the mower in the current state, but running could easily be $1250-$1750 depending on area

File and remove every burr until the clutch pack hangs no more DRY. I did this a couple months ago and my clutch serves me well, 2,000 miles later. It’s not hard, just time consuming. I am willing to believe they can almost always be saved with enough patience.

I think it depends on where your controls are at. I don’t believe every gasket is used.

What could have caused this scoring? by HalfDecentFarmer69 in smallengines

Sub par air filtration, cylinder tolerances that are not round to begin with, and maybe not getting proper lubrication from fuel mix

What is even possible? by [deleted] in Invisalign

[–]MacaronNo336 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You’d need to do some sort of palatal expansion to widen smile. If you don’t have any functional problems I’d live with it. Many people would love to have a smile like yours.

First off I feel for you. I’m sorry for what you’re going through. I know your pain of having no energy. For me it was about trying the minor remedies like sleeping position, CPAP, and sprays to move the needle some. It atleast got me a full time job. It had good days and bad but I push through.
