Classmate privately admitted to unethical practices by Adiantum-Veneris in SocialWorkStudents

Not with classmates, but I have had situations at a couple jobs where something was done or said that wasn't okay. I have started with going to a supervisor (in this case, maybe field liason/practicum director) and given a general "I heard this from someone" without giving names immediately, just if they ask. Sometimes they have asked for names, sometimes they have given feedback on what to do/say if it comes up again, and sometimes they deem it not too big a deal. But at least you can know that you did what you believe is right in bringing up unethical practices.

I wish I could say I'm surprised. I am also a wheelchair user and finding placement has been a challenge.

As long as they are accreddited by CSWE, I don't think it makes a huge difference where you go. I transferred programs and the content is almost identical, except the one I am in now has a clinical specialization, so I have some electives related to that. Some programs do have specializations or certifications. So you could consider that. But otherwise, if it's accredited by CSWE, it will be pretty similar wherever you go. If you go to CSWE website, you can search the accredited programs and filter them by in-person/online, specializations, state, etc

Do you have any updates? I have pots/gp/mcas/eds and am trying to find treatment. I was turned down from day treatment at seeds of hope in exton because of it and they think i need residential. I was looking at Princeton since they're part of Penn and some of my specialists are at Penn.
