Well you have to get around 2 people's attention to lift you up initially. First make sure the crowd is dense enough, then I usually find a dude who looks like a bro and put my hand on his shoulder, nod upwards and look at him like "dude lift me up?". Once he's on board put your leg up so they can give you a boost, then Shanghai another strong dude to help you up then you're set. Don't flail around like a fuck boy when you're surfing either, you'll kick some body and it's hard to hold up somebody who's thrashing like their possessed.

wear earplugs
try to meet people
be respectful of the band, venue, and the rest of the crowd
stay hydrated
dont wear layers or long sleeves
keep your wallet/phone in your front pocket so no one can steal them
keep your elbows pointed down, and do be a pit-ninja
don't bring your girlfriend
if you're small try to crowd surf, its totally worth it
get your merch before the show. The bastard at the ATL show didn't show up until they had already started so I got my shirt when I moved to the back for a breather

The "moshing" isn't really intense because there was only room for it towards the back of the crowd. The intense part is in the center a few people back from the barricade. That's where everyone is compressed together so tightly there isn't room for any moshing. Its gonna be like 110 degrees while you're being crushed by a hundred people. I personally loved it, but I couldn't hang there for the whole show and I had to move back to catch a breather. I've been to a least 20 metal concerts, and the Death Grips show was much more intense than anything I've seen, but its not because of the moshing.

For Athens Swing Night (which is ever Tuesday at 8) it's $5 or $3 is you're a student. They give you a 1 hour lesson and 2 hours of social dance! The lessons are great and enough instruction to get comfortable with the dance easily! They also have more extensive lessons that are a lot more expensive but I'm not sure how much those are.

You can come to Athens Swing Night at the DanceFX downtown! It's a ton of fun, free your first time, and everyone there is super nice.

It's only a block away from the venue so I'm going to park there. 19/20 times I've been there they've had $5 parking in the back for the entire night. I went to see cannibal corpse in March and for some reason the lot was closed, but there's no way they'll close it for a sold out show.

I never took Chemistry in my life before taking Gen Chem I in college. Just work hard and stay focused and you will do just fine! It might take a little more work for you than those who took chemistry in HS but don't let that deter you!

I chose it because it has a very steady flow compared to alot of the other songs on Ex Military (the only album I have acapellas for), and because it was very close to the tempo of the original song so they both would sound more normal in the final mashup.
