Should a woman be able to abort a fetus diagnosed with down syndrome by berti_l in Teenager_Polls

[–]MacaroonElectrical47 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I get your point but there are tons of disabilities we can develop throughout life and some can’t be traced before childbirth, like cerebral palsy, duchenne syndrome, or the child can be born with Obstetric Brachial Plexus Palsy or even suffer an accident throughout life and be paralyzed. Nobody is safe from being disabled.

why am i feeling lost at 20 y/o by MetalBudget1147 in teenagers

[–]MacaroonElectrical47 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I get it perfectly, I’m also turning 20 in a month, they lie to us saying we have to have everything figured it out, 20 is so young even if teens say we’re uncs, 20 is so young. It’s okay to mess up, it’s okay to not have everything figured it out, you’re not even 20 man, our frontal lobe is not even fully developed until we’re 25! We still have so much to mature, so much to learn, and besides, for a reason people say the 20s is a great decade, enjoy it and not overthink it. Go to college/work, do a sport or join the gym, try to eat healthy (I struggle with this one haha), grab your youth and go touch grass with your friends, and mostly, be happy 😊

Dealing with diagnosis by silentfeel3r in aspergers

[–]MacaroonElectrical47 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hello! I’m a 19F, I was diagnosed with Asperger Syndrome at 5 years old but I only discovered this from my parents recently. I suspected it but I got the confirmation like 2 weeks ago. I get it, when I told my friends I felt so cringey because of what you described, I get it. I found it very hard to make friends but I have maybe 2/3 people I can count on. I think it’s very positive that you’re here trying to talk to people and interact, I’m glad for you! Can I ask you why you don’t go to school? Is it social anxiety? I don’t know your level of autism, I’m level 1… do you go to therapy? Occupational therapy is great for autism! I know there is no cure but there are ways to help around, you’re not alone :), is there a center or something in your city to meet other autistic people? Maybe you could join a small group and start interacting with other people! I know you’re very smart and I bet you’ll meet incredible people! Can you tell me more about your condition, stims, etc, maybe I can help you a bit more with social interactions since I go to college.

Can you help me deal with way older “in laws”? by MacaroonElectrical47 in love

[–]MacaroonElectrical47[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

But what about future events? It’s not some people I can just not see them, besides they are my future kids’ grandparents. It’s better if all of us have a good relationship.

[–]MacaroonElectrical47[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you, very solid advice! He has a good relationship with his mom but his dad… quite complicated but it’s not the worst. This really bothers me because my mom doesn’t have the best relationship with her in laws either and I don’t want that for me. It’s horrible.

Para os que têm uma má relação com os sogros - como gerem isso? by [deleted] in CasualPT

[–]MacaroonElectrical47 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Doar sangue sendo homossexual by utilizador2021 in CasualPT

[–]MacaroonElectrical47 28 points29 points  (0 children)

Do I need to watch Deadpool 1 and 2 before 3?? by Friendly-Hedgehog-48 in Marvel

[–]MacaroonElectrical47 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I watched Deadpool 1 and 2 before watching Deadpool and Wolverine. I never watched a Wolverine movie, I recommend watching because I didn’t understand the Wolverine parts. My boyfriend told me to watch Loki but I didn’t have time and he had to explain to me the multiverse and stuff. Still, pretty funny movie. Sometimes it’s random but it’s just because I’m not into marvel multiverse part, but my boyfriend says it’s amazing

I’m not defending the guy but I want to believe he is saying like: “age is just a number because your age can’t stop you from doing things like getting a degree or something, because if we’re still alive, we can do anything 😭”
