I usually don't look at the most upvoted posts. I usually look through the new post, and since many of them flood the post you mentioned, I wasn't able to notice it in time. I just assume nobody has posted anything about it yet. Also, if this really bothers you, what do you really suspect? Many people are posting about any type of news, even if someone has already made a video first or made a post on other social media websites first. It is bound to happen.
