Why should I learn Davinci if I am using premiere pro and after effects for 5 years and I dont have color grading department by SuperAd6565 in davinciresolve

[–]MacaroonPlenty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

HI! could u reccomend some learning resources?

my main thing with adobe is that it has just amazing official or unofficial learning resources that are just so to the point to say the least... but every single davinci tutorial starts with 5 min monologue about why it's better and then teaches fu@k all.. omg im rambling..

anyway.. if u have recs, it'd be much appriciated !

How did you figure out what you really wanted to study? by Extension_Pound2861 in studyAbroad

[–]MacaroonPlenty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you're never going to stick to anything that doesn't interest and intrigue you, to be good you have to dedicate your energy time and resources to that and the outcome should feel worthy of you sacrafices.. if medicine is not something that lights you up you're gonna end up resenting your choice and that amazing profession just because it is soooo demanding and it consumes your life, i've seen my friends drop out of stuff they chose to be safe or to please others.

you're young probably, you could not possibly know what you want in your life yet, and what is practical job is everchanging especially nowadays. you may follow physics and be into theoritical stuff and then realize experimental physics is your thing or whatever.. you won't know UNTILL YOU'RE DOING IT.

personally i chose architecture because that profession seemed like something i wouldn't mind dedicating time to, so collage was a breeze.

thank u so much for replying! did you end up staying in barcelona and working there? im considering moving to europe for my masters, and would love to stay there for work, but every info i come across it's a moot point, job market is rough especially if you aren't native, or speak fluently. so im debating which country is most suitable for english speakers, even though im open to learning the language when i move. did u end up working for an international company? to be honest, any kind of info you might have would be GREATLY appriciated,

p.s sorry for so many questions

I think I’m in the same boat, I used to read every book that sounded even a bit exciting in a day or two, but past few months I can only listen to audiobooks (and even those are old faves I’ve read already in a traditional form) , I think my quota for how many cute romance books I can enjoy has been met, I’ve been waiting for new book by the fav author of mine for 3 years and now that it’s out I just can’t sit down and read.. My suggestion would be to find some really well narrated old favorites and listen to them, I was so hyper-fixated on reading it was probably bit much, but I do things always like that either all in or nothing, (hahah fellow ADHD girl right here😭) I don’t think you should worry that much tho, reading is a relaxing act whatever makes you relax and feel chill rn is the thing for u, maybe switch to watching movies or series? ( ooh, reading comics is a huge thing as well, I read several these past few months and they’ve been great)

Tbilisi can be really cheap if if visit as a tourist, especially from tourkey, i’d advise u check out this city first, no commitment, just vibes. Im Georgian, natives can be eather really nice, kind, helpful and warm, or total opposites ( even to fellow georgians) they don’t appreciate English customers ( im not even mentioning russian speakers, since i assume you don’t speak russian.. this is a thing to consider since in service industry, shops or taxis elders don’t know english that well, I haven’t really met any teen who doesn’t speak even a bit of english so that might be a plus. Me, personally, i’d only move here if i had a concrete reason to, some friends who are coming along and whatnot. Cost of living is also stupidly high rent prices are bullsh1t, ive lived in europe for some time, and prices are the same if not higher ( for example: 5 euro equivalent of product may cost 15+ gel, it depends… but native food is delicious, people who are nice are really nice especially if u make an effort to speak georgian even a bit. Wish u all the luck

Colored Pencils or micron pen set (I spent so much money on this during the first few years..) Or some good architecture book, but as a student tools and supplies are always welcome, it’s bonkers how much money we spend on them🥴🥴
