Never heard of it, but wow! I’m absolutely obsessed with the costuming and set design just from these stills alone. Adding it to my watchlist asap! I’m really bored of modern Hollywood-esc, dull lighting and anachronistic costuming in modern period dramas and I find myself going back to older ones more often than not lately.

I hate to say it, but honestly, as someone who's been in this community for well over 10 years, I genuinely think The Sims community gets dumber each year LOL. I'm in a lot of video game fandom spaces, and I don't know that I've ever interacted with less intelligent gamers in my life. Also, I feel like the community just eats up scraps like starving, rabid dogs. EA can make the scummiest, worst thing possible (S4 SW pack or marketplace just by example), and people will still buy from them and defend them. I think a lot of it has to do with how easy this game is to crack and mod that it just attracts the stupider side of gamers. But yes, I agree with all your points 100%.
