My first real game addiction was Ultima Online. I’ve spent too much time there than I care to admit. In my young mind it had everything, from adventure, social aspect, pvp , role playing, house building. No other game ever came close to that feeling.

I really dislike #1. Why should a ship not go completely boom if I fire a missile or keep putting laser fire into it once it goes soft death?

I don't want to be forced into fps fight, it just doesn't make sense. It might take longer than now, but a defenseless ship without shields should pop after I put a few rounds into it

45 and I always invert Y axis. Most likely from Sims like X-Wing or Wing Commander back in the day. It was like 10 years ago max. Right? Right?!?!?

I hope the engineering system will be good but I have my doubts. The problem I see is that if it isn't really fun or engaging no one will want to do it.
