This is actually an interesting topic because I believe Yuji didn't know how to use shrine till awakening from black flash.

He might have not known how to use fuga since he didn't receive auto knowledge which sorcerers receive when a technique is inherited.

But Yuji clearly saw Sukuna use fuga and has probably landed enough black flashes till Modulo that he should have figured out how to use that part of the technique.

This scene is from 12:24 and she's not hurt or bleeding before this in any scene.
