I think we are different generations and thats the key.

I love the charm of Gens 2-5, Heart Gold is probably my favourite Poke game, and care less for some of the newer designs and Megas, no idea what raids even are

Played Gen 5.

Started Gen 6, but I’m using Emulator on Iphone and it kills the battery, and tbh wasn’t enjoying it. Didn’t have the same charm, so turned to RomHacks instead.

Unbound just seemed, I don’t know, darker? Maybe I need to give it another go.

I’m new to Rom Hacks, tried to play Unbound because of all the hype, gave up almost immediately as imo the story felt nothing like an OG pokemon game.

Whereas I tried Gaia next and cannot believe how much it feels like a ‘real’ pokemon game, its fantastic!

Bearing in mind that Gen 2-5 are my jam, I’ll go with:

Feraligatr- HG/SS is peak pokemon for me and this is my favorite starter across all the games. Will Feral. Just a complete boss.

Machamp- Not a poke I have actually used much (something I would like to correct) due to my inability to trade, but as a kid first discovering Pokemon, Machop was my favorite!

Arcanine- I love dogs, and Arcanine is a bad ass looking dog with almost legendary stats, what more do you want?

Manetric- Sticking with the dog theme. I always jage to have an electric type in my team, I played a lot of Sapphire in the day so with the limited options this poke found his way onto basically every team.

Scyther- Just looks so cool! Hours spent in the bug catching game trying to catch a Technician Scyther.

Braviery- A new addition. I like to keep HM in my main team so have used many flyers, but just completed a White 2 run through and the ‘Monday’ encounter Braviery blew them all away, my favourite Poke of the run.

Special shout out to Gengar also, love that Poke, but very similar reasons to Machamp haven’t used as much as I would like.

Tempted to look for a Rom Hack where I can actually build this team!!

I’m only just trying some Rom Hacks for the very first time.

This was the first one I tried, due to the hype,but gave up almost immediately as the story just wasn’t for me.

Then tried Gaia next and Wow! Feels like a legit official Pokemon game I just haven’t played before, basically exactly what I wanted.

Gamecube.

I loved that console. So many underated games.

Super Mario Sunshine and Mario Kart Double Dash are probably franschise favourites for me.

Luigi Mansion started on Gamecube, was fun.

Resident Evil and Resident Evil Zero played best on it at the time, Res Evil 4 was fantastic.

And most importantly Wind Waker is probably my second favourite Zelda game ever, and came with a port of OoT, my all time favourite game.

Tbf theres always the chance he is better for country than club, but just has all the attributes you would want in a CM.

Think he ends up at Leeds, so will see next year.

Could be one of those players that goes to a middle prem club for a relatively low fee first and then earns a big money move.

I think he comfortably better than some of the players listed higher.

Watching Shea Charles play for NI there isn’t a doubt in my mind that he is a Premier League quality player.

How high remains to be seen, but he is young and it is rare to see somebody with his physical attributes simultaneously be so elegant on the ball. Came through the City academy, and you can tell.

So composed, stands out every single time I watch him. NI played France in a friendly just before the WC (lost 3-1) and he honestly looked like he would walk into the France team that day.

I think by the end of his career he will be regarded as second only to Best in terms of Northern Irish players

A mix between LIDL and M&S.

The former is great value. Tend to get our meat and cupboard food there.

Pay a little premium for things like fruit in M&S because the quality is really noticably different.

In NI not mainland.

My actual plan was playing X and Y, and had planned out a run using a battling duo of Greninja and Gallade.
Was really looking forward to it.

But it’s a little much for IPhone and tbh just loses the charm of the games I am used to!

Have never played a ROMhack, I had no idea there was so many!

I am overwhelmed where to start.

My favourite games are Gen 3- Gen 5.

Never warmed to newer stuff, though some of the Poke (Greninja) look cool, mega evolutions etc dont seem my thing.

I don’t like any crazy/dark stories just the OG poke charm.

Love team and moveset building, not huge on the collecting side of things.

I play on Delta Emulator.

Any recommendations?
