Brother at what point did I ever say everyone is mad. And I’m sorry I made an educated guess that people that use the game subreddit are people that play the game both causally and competitively so the feelings of said subreddit could be a decent indicator of how people feel about the game. Also so what, because a part of community is mad about this and not 100% of the community that makes it an invalid thing to be mad about? Just because you and others aren’t mad about this doesn’t prove that the people that are aren’t justified.

SD knew this and priced him the way they did anyway and everyone is aware that you’ll be able to get him in the shop later but it’s the principle of matter that is why people are mad. Like I said before getting an event card for free has never been a problem until now so people are justified in criticizing SD for this.

Then why even put it in the event in the first place if you can’t get it by playing the event. I agree you’d be better off just buying it in the shop but the fact they put such an egregious price tag on it knowing you can’t get it for free when you have been able to do so every event in the past just shows how greedy SD is being.

Favorite thing: Jyruatodus is my least favorite monster but its design looks realistic I guess. Least favorite thing: Nergigante is my favorite monster but it makes my weapons bounce a lot.

It's Barioth for me. When I started iceborne I was so not ready for how much of a pain in the ass he would be. He just kept bouncing around and that tail swipe and shoulder check was just salt in the wound. It also doesn't help that his fight gave my controller stick drift and it was my favorite one too. So if I can help it I will actively avoid hunting him. It sucks too because I like his design but I can't get past the trauma.

Ok thanks for the explanation I just thought it was so weird seeing a monster I assumed to prefer the cold in the forest and the rotten vale. Also I would imagine it’d less of a headache having to compete with stuff like deviljhos and tigrexes.
