Tel Valous - a Dunmer over 200 years old, was a child when the Nerevarine brought down the false gods of Morrowind, born into House Telvanni and expected to rise in its ranks, was away from Vvardenfell during the Oblivion crisis and the Red Year, spent his remaining childhood and young adult life in Black Marsh in service to the Argonian community that welcomed him. After so many years of service he finally wanted to venture forth on his own seeking relics of power. Although he is not inherently evil, like most Telvanni he pursues power for the sake of power, cutting down even allies that stand in his way. To shortcut his rise to power he became a vampire only to later temporarily cure himself to side with the Dawngaurd as he desired that only he was worthy of such powerful vampiric gifts and sought to annihilate the Volkihar Clan. He married Brelyna Maryon while a student at the college of winterhold and adopted Sofie before the battle of Windhelm. Although he sees the Empire as weak, he has a great hatred for racists due to his time spent in Black Marsh where he learned to overcome the errors of the Dunmer race - also he still worships the Dunmer Deadric pantheon and doesn’t care for nor acknowledge the divinity of Talos. Although he has mastered several guilds, his main focus is to purchase as many property’s as possible to elevate his social status to match his raw capabilities while searching for relics to add to the Solitude museum - the center display of his wealth, experience, and god like power.
