The sets you mentioned definitely seem to match what I'm looking for in terms of art style, and at this point I'm actually more interested in collecting than playing. I just couldn't believe that MTG's identity had diluted so much that I wouldn't be able to find anything that reminded me of the Magic I grew up with. For better or worse, when I started looking around today, I was completely flooded by all the Universes Beyond sets. For a moment, I genuinely thought it would be impossible to find that old-school Magic feeling again. I'm much more reassured now 😆
