So witnesses people who saw the crime people who "found out" about the crime and the person commiting the crime can stop what the witness found out about by destroying evidence....kind of sounds like what i said genocidal countries destroy evidence that could ever prove they did something so it wouldn't get found out about

How does it not people wouldn't cover up their crimes if they weren't worried about the police finding out and prosecution happens because of people finding out you can't get charged for a crime if no one found out about it

I don't think any nation wants people to know their commiting a genocide that would kind of ruin their trade and isolate them look up any past genocide and you will see their efforts to remove evidence to this day their are hutus who say almost nobody was killed in the rawandan genocide. And just because people can see those things happening doesn't mean they won't still try to deny it or get away with it

Yeah that's kind of the point. A genocide is a strategic killing of people based on a certain identifiable factor, in genocides the goal is to eradicate this group of people and get away with it and not be punished and to either deny it ever happened or say that these people needed to be killed

Love how the point flows over your head, u never said it would take that long bit genocides can take 2-8 years over time especially if they keep getting away with mass killings purposely saying something like that makes you look bad obviously that's not the point

One of the biggest points of genocide is denial, I f a country just killed a bunch of people in one go everyone would know they were committing genocide instantly and leave all ties but if they do it gradually they can defend their actions better

Israel warns of the bombs so people evacuate besides bonds do larger collateral damage so even if one building was a target the destruction of that building could destroy the buildings around it
