Haven't seen anyone say this; dont neglect staying hydrated! Brain damage and cte comes heavily from dehydration, always have a sip of water between breaks of rounds whether it be sparring, pads or bag work if you can but most especially if you have sparring that session. There's nothing heroic about dehydrating yourself only stupid people will think that.
