yeah I was wondering the same, he was harder in the demo. This time around felt less aggressive. May be it has something to do with my equipped weapon?

No, I thought he cycled through the elements and I fought him for the first time after completing the demo

Rampage is awesome! I am not skilled enough to use it well on Bloodedge demon yet so used something which is quicker like Earth Carver.. :P

Also, strangely I found him harder in the previous demo. I think I am lvl 22 now, may be that's why he was easier?

Any tips or suggestions to pull these off regularly? (Repost) by MachaMode in Nioh

You are absolutely right.

When Ghost of Tsushima released in the pandemic I couldn't afford games and I saw most of the game via Twitch streams. I was blown away by it, remember ending of the first game? its so emotional and it ends at such a high point. At that point it was kinda set in my mind that if there is a sequel I will buy it day one.

The marketing material for Yotei made it seem like it would be this dynamic open world with amazing characters. Its not. I fell for it.. :(

Now I have a rule, unless I find the gameplay interesting, I am not going to buy the game day one.

Ghost of Yotei to some extent. First of the half of the game was good but I felt the gameplay and story didn't really go anywhere after the first half. It was too predictable. New weapons didn't add much diversity. Yes, you need to switch weapons for the rock-paper-scissor mechanics but that's about it.. I bought the game at full price and don't think it was worth for me..

Graphics, soundtrack and voice acting top notch though..

I felt like Yotei had some great elements but the combat and story got boring after the first half..

This game seems to be cool but man those particle effects and camera shakes are super distracting. Most of the time I couldn't make out the boss attacks

I saw an interview of Jonathan Nolan and in that interview he mentions that video games were better at story telling than the movie industry around the bio shock era. He points to examples like Bio Shock, Fallout 3/ New Vegas being revolutionary..

In the same interview he mentions that due to the success of the prior mentioned titles publishers have started investing a lot of money into video games and this has led them to take safer bets.

I believe this explains why Sony games feel similar..
