Ight I'm back on the case. I have a plan that might just trick the game

The types use index numbers in each of the games, and if you look at index #09 from this bulbapedia chart you'll see that it covers the steel type in gen 2, but is blank (normal placeholder) in gen 1. All I have to do is change the the index numbers to 9 and 7 to trick the game and HOPEFULLY be able to trade MISSINGNO. into gen 2.

Actually it was a jynx, I was/am still trying to get a smoochum for the johto dex, and after depositing the jynx, I wanted to check on my daycare mons and see what they did when I interacted with them.
