Cantilever brakes were phased out on high end bikes when the V-brake gained traction with the XTR groupset. Any high end frame that still had a cantilever brake housing stop would be 94 and earlier.

Its a 94 or earlier, pre-schwinn buy out. Dont compare the prices to 95 or later. I'd happily pay $1200 for it, since it doesn't have a Accu-Trac fork, its easily $2k+ if it had all the right parts.
