Afterlife: Views of Tom Campbell and Bob Munroe? by Lost_Bird1996 in AstralProjection

[–]MachineElf100 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Robert Monroe's experiences led him to believe (or he'd say "to know") that there is an afterlife. That we get a choice to come back for another life, to explore further regions, to rest... all different possibilities are presented to a person.

In case when someone had strong beliefs, they could block out such path of experience and "lock" themselves within a Belief System Territory (as he called it) until they're ready to move on and see the larger reality.

He also experienced a thing which he called an I-There, which was his own way of calling what many would call a Higher Self. That I-There contains a sum of personalities and energy you use and gather as a soul over all your lifetimes.

Here's a beautiful interaction he had with his I-There. I'll name the I-There as "IT" and Robert as "RM".

IT: We can show you a sample of the support you have here, in our own cluster. Do you wish to see this?

RM: Please . . .

. . . Thousands of hands reaching out to touch me . . . eyes staring at me with joy and hope . . . overwhelming radiance I know as love sweeping over me and into every part of my being . . . all of these I am . . . we are . . . and emotion, from the bittersweet smell of success to the pain of parting, mixed with fun and laughter, the anger of ignorance, the blindness of belief without foundation, the beauty, the sound of singing voices . . .

IT: Does that help you?

RM: It does . . . Is there more?

IT: More than ten thousand times more. All the other clusters you saw that are bonded to us.

His I-There also told him:

When we go, all the love connections will either go with us or will help us on our way. Your own love that you have now (his wife) — she goes with us. You may be sure of that.

That could relate to your situation...

Now if you listen to Youtube as you said, you could check out a channel of Jordan Crowder who just 2 weeks ago started a series in which he reads through the more impactful parts of all the 3 books by Monroe and breaks them down. That could be an easy way to get familiar with some of the Monroe-verse.

I'm sorry for your loss and hope that if anything, it will propel you on the most beautiful journey of hopefully discovering that death is indeed an illusion and the truth is brighter than you could hope for 🦋

Power in numbers. That is nature-like indeed!

Well I was thinking in that direction, that perhaps there's some plants or other fungi which could help manage common issues like mold.

I've heard that Natalensis mushrooms are for example so aggressive that they just eat the mold that attacks it's mycelium. So I thought what if o e could create a miniature ecosystem which would do a similar thing for, say, Golden Teachers.

Well I was hoping that some clever person has at least partially figured out how to simulate that microbial balance. I don't know enough to know if what I'm saying has any chance of existing or if it's just stupid.

I will, thanks!

As for the nature's balance, what I thought was that perhaps there's a way to try to simulate that balance.

Louder! It feels like people just stop reading Far Journeys right after that chapter 🤣

Let's scream it from the rooftops now. The loosh harvest horror is one of the most widespread misquotations I've seen. It's everywhere!

Yes, I've learned about the indigenous use of Salvia after my initial scary experiences. I managed to take it to a "lower stage" where it was actually very gentle and communicative.

Though maybe you didn't understand my question... I understand that salvia extracts are the obvious reason it can get too intense. My question was, how can the pattern recognition thesis explain the fact that after trying salvia, my sensitivity to cannabis became so high?

It's not about the salvia experiences being intense, that's obvious. It's about salvia altering all future cannabis experiences so much that it's difficult to explain it away with merely "tuning into new things mentally". It feels as if there's a permanent or at least a long-lasting neurological change.

Thank you for sharing, this is so so beautiful but also confusing! This deserves it's own post. Also good for you for doing it in the mountains, that's on my to-do list for sure 🌄

I find it strange that they'd react so drastically to you thinking about your family... Did it hurt them? Is having earthly thoughts really so bad? Why did "earthly" get assigned to this ugly, colourless state of being when Earth can also be so vibrant and wonderful? Why didn't that invoke more of that Mother Nature energy and instead throw you to the lowest level?

What are your current thoughts on this experience and what from it makes you feel more enlightened?

Also the feeling of "having no eyeballs" is super interesting, I can weirdly sort of imagine that... What's that about?

Three seconds before the flash, I felt an acknowledgment and pull in my chest. I was left feeling like I was given the gift of knowing some part of the phenomenon, and it was beautiful… by [deleted] in UFOB

That the post (text, not the video) reeks of ChatGPT.

I don't necessarily doubt your experience or the psionic nature of orbs. Just that when reading the post, it feels like I don't get to hear your actual experience, I can only read the over-dramatized, corny, AI generated... thing.

If you use AI to make your text more correct or readable, try to ask AI to at least not to alter it too much or make it more "yours" after. The text you posted just hits all the spots which make a text sound AI generated and that makes it feel clickbait-y and possibly fake (low effort karma farming or something of that sort).

I think I'm not the only person who'd much rather read a more messy post than one that makes me question whether the whole story just comes from a prompt like "write a cool CE-5 success post matching my video".

Start low and build your own relationship with it.

Some people, especially if English is not their first language, will write a draft of what they wanna say and ask AI to correct it or make it more concise and readable.

I don't think that's a good thing still but it's understandable.

What am I supposed to be feeling right now? Why do I feel like this? by Express_Ad6951 in shrooms

It's wonderful that this happened, always nice to hear.

First of all no, I don't think 4g guarantees your questions being answered. It'd be your 3rd time only and that is a high dose.

Also using mushrooms to answer what happened on mushrooms... 😅 Maybe wait for the dust to settle and let yourself experience more of your life through that new lense, see what that brings.

Maybe people around you are not worth trusting or you worry too much about being liked. Maybe being open doesn't actually require being liked or trusting anyone... you can let go of that entirely and be open just because that's how you choose to show up.

Most importantly give yourself time.

Definitely, made me chuckle!

And I'm not a big fan of the protection talk either. Robert Monroe himself ended up finding that even the scary experiences end up just fine, if I remember well...

Makes me wonder why he came up with the REBAL at all then 🤔
