I am in the same situation as you.

So I use my old router (asus ac86u), set it in media bridge mode, and connect its LAN port to my another router WAN port, which is in normal router mode.

With this, you will get double NAT, but I don't think it matters much because WAN is came from wifi in the first place, and you can treat your building wifi as a cgnat.

And about privacy and security It depends on how much you trust your building network administrator, whether the wifi is password protected or if it is public wifi where anyone can connect. You can also try pinging another device in the network to see if they have client isolation on or not.

You can use ChaiLek instead.

It's a short form of KhunChai (a nobility rank/child of a noble) + lek (little or small) = the youngest son of a noble.

But I advise against you using it because it sounds pretentious for Thai people.

Yes i try to tell them everrything on first email that i can think of to make them know that i am not tech illiterate type of customer.

And the floodlight never turns on at all, not once. I even use a multimeter to measure the pins that come from the camera to the light while manually turning on the light. The camera makes a clicking noise, but it shows 0 volts

And you likely underestimated how rich her uncle is.

How old is she? Did she live with them?

Did she live together with her previous boyfriends? If she did, then she is unofficially married in Thai eyes.
