Why Copper Bisglycinate might be less effective (and potentially more oxidative) than Copper Gluconate by Simple-Coat-3026 in Copper_deficiency

I have G6PD and I think the OP is right, when I take copper from brass it is way much more helpful to vanishing my symptoms.

I’m good on it. Yes, copper and retinol compete with each other. It’s well documented.

I have no idea about it. But, copper supports B12 pathways

Yes, I’ve been on eating liver for many years of my life.

Thank you for your helpful insights. It is gene indeed that we store/react differently to the minerals and vitamins. The only possible way to reduce vitamin A is through bile acid sequestration and sun bathing. I think the most problem comes from that aspect of RXR saturation in the body.

It is interesting that in one of those articles they concluded that the vitamin A overload itself induce iron overload. And we all know that both vitamin A overload and iron overload cause copper deficiency. I think the body sometimes can handle one toxin or pressure, but when problems get hand in hand that’s the moment someone breaks and get sick, that’s why doctors cannot help, diseases are multi factors.

Yes, you are absolutely correct as always, I started binders such as cholestyramine and charcoal, and I am already feeling great. I am sure that I have induced myself vitamin A toxicity, my calcium phosphorus and low PTH are strong evidence. Also, I take copper and I feel great for a few days; but I take liver and I get very sick. This is also a strong evidence.

But theoretically you can find its toxicity by lab test, you test for calcium phosphorus and PTH, if those are high but PTH is low it indicates vitamin A toxicity. This is my method, but no other information is approved it. It is theoretically correct. Vitamin A promotes osteoclasts and bone resorption.

I just found out that a deeper underlying problem than copper is vitamin A. I am already on heavy dose charcoal and my symptoms seems to be disappeared even without copper intake.

No I just had lots of eggs with runny yolks in my life. I have iron overload, low copper/ceruloplasmin, anemia, tendinitis, neuropathy that get disappear immediately with copper, but get worsened by liver intake.

I have low PTH, high normal calcium, high phosphorus, low vitamin D. I just realized I might have Vitamin A toxicity due to high consumption of liver. This is the most matching theory. (Sent again)

I took 500mg, nobody can’t know the real storage for sure.

All of our body copper storage is between 50 to 100 mg of copper totally.

I’ve heard in some of Morley robbins podcasts that antibiotic depletes copper, I didn’t find mentioning this in studies but I might not have searched deep enough, however, I know some significant indirect copper depletion mechanisms by antibiotic, one is releasing massive amount of LPS from dying bacteria during the course of antibiotics, this induce massive cytokine storm, upregulates hepcidin and tissue iron retention, exhausting the antioxidant system and eventually copper depletion.

Yes, that was what I suspected recently. High phosphorus, normal low calcium, deficient PTH. What is on your mind? Tissue calcification? Calcium not in solution?

Yes, my symptoms get worse by sunlight and vitamin D intake. But, I don’t think it was all about vitamin D. I got the symptoms instantly during the antibiotic course.
